WW - Rolex Oyster Perpetual with "LINZ" dial, ref 6092, circa 1953, 33mm x 40mm to lug tips, 19mm lug width, original 14K yellow gold screw back Oyster case with fancy bombe lugs, engraved presentation to rear dated 1955, original silvered honeycomb dial double signed by the retailer LINZ with applied gold arrow indices inset with radium, 17J gold-plated movement, s#948007, triple signed, inside back ref 6092. Gross weight of assembled watch without strap 27.8 dwt (43.2 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, hardly any oxide, spotting and discoloration to polished rotor edge, light fine scratches to plates and rotor; nearly flawless dial with hardly any surface spotting; excellent gold dauphine hands; polished case shows light wear, good lug detail, crisp hallmarks, wear to the inside of the lugs from being worn on a bracelet; replacement later Rolex crown shows little wear, good threads; good crystal; resealed for auction.
